Morning Millet Recipe For The Rice Cooker
Eagle Loft Kitchen has a tasty recipe for Morning Millet In A Zojirushi Rice Cooker they recently published on their site. We haven’t tried it yet, but it looks yummy. It looks like they also added blueberries on top of the millet too which I love. I’m sure you could tweak this millet recipe a bit and use it to cook grains other than millet like quinoa or amaranth or even oatmeal in your rice cooker too for a great gluten free breakfast. Of course you could cook millet in any rice cooker but this Zojirushi rice cooker has a porridge setting, among many other special settings, which makes this easy to cook millet to just the right consistency. You can also use the timer setting so your breakfast millet is ready and waiting for you when you wake up!
If you don’t have a good source for gluten free grains near you, you can buy millet, amaranth, quinoa and other gluten free grains from Amazon.
