The Zojirushi NS-TGC10 5-1/2-cup rice cooker is a unique and high quality rice cooker that churns out perfect batches of rice each and every time. NS-RGC10 Rice Cooker Description
The Zojirushi NS-TGC10 rice cooker with an instruction manual, rice measuring cup, rice paddle and a fixture for attaching the paddle to the side of the rice cooker. It can be attached on either the right or left side. The inner pot of the rice cooker has a non-stick coating with markings etched in the side. These markings correspond to the included measuing cup. If you add 1 cup of rice, you simply fill the inner pot to the water-line marked 1.
The Zojirushi NS-TGC10 Rice Cooker
This Zojirushi cooker cooks up to 5-1/2 cups of uncooked rice which comes to about 10 cups of cooked rice. The manual says that half a cup of uncooked rice can feed 1 person but that seems a little small and you may want to try and see what portion works best for you.
One of the best things about the Zojirushi NS-TGC10 is that is the detachable inner lid. This is a feature that many rice cookers are lacking. Most rice cooker lids to just be wiped down, but this one can actually be removed for washing.
Another great feature of this Zojirushi rice cooker is the Liquid Crystal clock display with timer setting. You can set your rice cooker to start at a specific time of day to start cooking. So you can program it to have rice ready for you in the morning for breakfast, when you come home from work or anytime you want it The Zojirushi will also keep your rice warm for you automatically after it finishes cooking with the keep warm feature.

“This is my second Zojirushi rice cooker with fuzzy logic. I received the first one as a gift 10 years ago and it still works fine. We got this one, because we wanted a smaller cooker that didn’t take up as much space in our overloaded kitchen. Our old cooker is a 10-cup model and worked flawlessly. The new model is much improved. The retractable cord is an excellent feature and the cooker is easy to program. It is also easy to clean and nonstick. Cooks rice to perfection.
